SmartSense combines two mechanisms of feed back to deliver the appropriate level of laser energy - temperature and motion sensing.

Temperature Sensing:

• The ThermaGuide cannula contains a sensor which measures tissue temperature
• Your Smartlipo MPX workstation calculates average temperature and displays it on the screen
• Laser energy is delivered until the target temperature is reached, for a safer and more uniform treatment

Motion Sensing:

• The SmartSense accelerometer measures your handpiece movements using an advance microchip
• Precise laser power is delivered based on the speed of your motions
• If you stop moving the handpiece, the laser stops firing within 0.2 seconds for added safety
